BOFCA Podcast #1 – THE FABULOUS STAINS, THEY LIVE, DEATH PROOF and More!

Hey all, Steve Here.

This month has certainly been transitional, what with John and I attempt to master the art of Skype recording. (We will. We promise!) But not to worry. More Post-Movie Podcast episodes are on the way. Episode 182 has been recorded and will magically appear on this page in the next few days.

In the midsts of our Skypeology studies, my fellow critics and I embarked on a new podcasting endeavor for the Boston Online Film Critics Assocation, tentatively titled The BOFCA Podcast. Our mission is to discuss films coming to Boston-area art house and repertory theaters, particularly: The Brattle Theatre in Cambridge, The Harvard Film Archive in Cambridge, The Coolidge Corner Theater in Brookline, The Somerville Theater in Somerville, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

Now The BOFCA Podcast: Episode #1 is ready for your ears!

(Theme/intro music is “Baia” by Tony Saravino, recorded at Sound/mirror Studios, Jamaica Plain, Ma.)
