I’m sure this has happened to anyone who’s recorded more than 150 podcast episodes of all sorts. One gets away.
It happened to us.
John, our guest Meg Quinn-DeBoer and I recorded a nearly 2-hour discussion focusing on The Hunger Games and, to a smaller extent, Battle Royale (which has just been releasaed on Blu-ray in a rather nice collection from Anchor Bay). And it basically all went for naught. Something went wrong during the recording and I lost 75% of the episode.
That’s why we don’t, as of yet, have a Hunger Games episode. You’d've enjoyed it, too. Meg essentially schooled John and me on The Hunger Games.
So we hold our heads high, chin up, and move forward. And maybe we’ll have a bit of a Hunger Games discussion with MovieBob in our next episode, which we’re recording tomorrow… without an audio glitch… I hope.
