It’s hard to believe we’re just a couple episodes away from 100. Here we are, more than two years later. I supposed it’s an achievement, but really it’s just a natural thing. We talk about film. Always have. For years. It’s what we do.

And for this sweet bite of audio candy, we get to talking about directors Martin Scorsese’s 3D family friendly feature Hugo, and Simon Curtis’ period piece My Week With Marilyn, starring the stunning Michelle Williams; as well as some films coming to The Coolidge Corner Theater:

The Creature from the Black Lagoon – in 3D, which plays December 2nd and 3rd at midnight…

The riot grrl doc From the Back of the Room, which plays Friday, December 9th at midnight…

And Terry Gilliam’s 12 Monkes, which screens Monday, December 14th as part of the Coolidge’s Science on Screen series.

Over at the ArtsEmerson Paramount (If you live in Boston and you love film (as we suspect a fair number of you do), you’ve got to get over to the Paramount and check it out. It’s relatively new and it needs you! It’s saying “Love me!” and I will give you fine films in a cinemateque-ish environment.) they have: The Color Wheel screening December 2nd and 3rd, and The Swell Season, a documentary from Glen Hansgaard and Markéta Irglová, the Academy Award winning duo featured in the film Once – seriously, who didn’t like that film?
